Established in 2000, the U.S. Institute convenes North America’s premier asset management community as an industry “think tank” and discussion forum for invited Chief Executive Officers and their C-suite teams: Chief Investment Officer, COO, CFO, and CHRO.
Hailing from every corner of the U.S. and Canada, USI fosters an environment carefully built for purposeful collaboration between senior-level executives from top asset management firms.
The mission of the U.S. Institute is to provide a peer-group forum where members can privately discuss key industry issues of common concern and hear from other thought leaders — all within a collegial environment. USI members meet at a series of interactive roundtable meetings whose agendas and attendees reflect the increasingly global nature and diversity of approaches of the investment industry. Membership is by invitation only.
Cross Functional Access
Five annual roundtables are held annually, each of which is designed for a specific “C level” peer group.
“Ask USI” allows members of each peer group to suggest emailed polling questions for fellow USI delegates. Anonymous feedback is then compiled and circulated back to the membership.

Additional regional gatherings
Between roundtables, USI members periodically gather for meetings in key cities, many of which feature outside speakers who provide expertise on a particular topic.
Gathered and presented at meetings, proprietary USI member surveys and research reports, measuring the membership’s collective opinion on the latest developments in the industry, including interviews, white papers, and research by some of the leading industry experts.
