Research Survey: For Developed Europe the vote counts are up 230% to 19.9k, buy side voting firms up by 169%. For Emerging EMEA, the vote counts are up 190% and buy side voting firms are up by 128%.

Executive Team Survey: Voter participation is up 281%. The most popular investor relations qualities for investment professionals are Business & Market Knowledge, Responsiveness, and Credibility.

Relaunching of Trading & Execution Survey 

In partnership with Institutional Investor’s International Traders Forum, founded in 1984, II Research has re-launched the Trading & Execution surveys on the new voting platform alongside Sales, Corporate Access and Research in all of our global equity surveys.

In the European survey (which is currently polling) Trading is polled at two levels: at the Pan-European category and at the local broker level.

2021 America Executive Team

We explore trends derived from over 700 Investor Relations professionals who participated in the latest US survey, as IR teams were adjusting to a different way of communicating company strategy, financials and impacts of COVID-19 to their business with shareholders. The top most increased areas of interest and most declined areas of interest for shareholders are analysed, with company stability and shareholder payouts being among the most important.

ESG, More Relevant Than Ever

Institutional Investor's Alex Beveridge reports on the latest thinking on ESG investing in his blog: Investors Are Advancing ESG Issues on All Fronts. "The last big crisis - which I had a ring-side seat for back in 2008 - slammed the breaks on ESG investing. So I am happy to report that this crisis has only increased its 'relevance'. Conversations with the Advisory Board for the up coming European Pensions Symposium and European Investment Roundtable have raised ESG as one of the key topics asset owners want to discuss with their peers and asset managers.
