While these have been reassuringly positive, we’ve also learnt about areas where we can further develop our services which we will be reviewing over the coming months. 2023 Asia (ex-Japan) Research & Executive Team Results Now Live

After another uneven year in Asia, from a lagging China to global macro pressures and geopolitical concerns, the beginning of 2023 is showing more bright spots for investors — and opportunities for their sell-side research firms. The survey reflected the independent feedback of 5,484 portfolio managers and analysts at over 1,500 institutions, an increase of over 14% in voter participation from 2022.

Asia (ex-Japan) Executive Team
Results live: 21st June
A total of 6,474 (up over 17% from last year) investors, portfolio managers and analysts from 1,646 voter firms participated in this survey, nominating a total of 1,608 companies and 2,504 individuals across 18 sectors. This included 5,660 buy-side professionals from 1,488 buy-side companies with an estimated $2 trillion in Asia (ex-Japan) equities and 814 sell-side analysts from 158 companies.
We also had the pleasure of interviewing Jerry Harn, President of Fubon Financial Holdings on his thoughts on the company's successes on investor relations, fintech and their ESG journey. Click here for the full interview.

2023 Latin America and Brazil Research & Executive Team Results Now Live

When it comes to the top research firms in the region, investors are taking a longer-term approach. The buy-side has once again stuck with the same trio of sell-side firms, according to Institutional Investor’s 31st annual Latin America Research Team survey. The participation in the survey is up significantly on last year and the results reflect the opinions of 906 (630 in 2022) investment professionals at 505 (408 in 2022) institutions.
